Dr. Anastasia Mavrommati was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus. She was accepted at First Faculty of Medicine in Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and she graduated in 2016. Her extensive educational background and enthusiasm made her a valuable member as a Dental Surgeon at Dentistar Dental clinic.
Dr. Leonidou was born in Limassol, Cyprus. He studied at the university “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, where he earned his degree as a Dental Surgeon. After graduation, he started his post-graduate training in becoming an Orthodontist. For 3 years he got his training exclusively in Orthodontic cases at the “Carol Davila” Orthodontic state clinic in Bucharest. He also started working at the “American Medical Center” of Bucharest.
Dr. Leonidou took his Orthodontics training a step further by studying alongside some of the bigger names in world Orthodontics such as , Prof. Dr. Dragos Stanciu, Prof. Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin, Prof. Dr. Andre Horn, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gruner and Prof. Dr. Larry Brown in Bucharest, Romania, Prof. Dr. William Proffit, Prof. Dr. David Sarver, Prof. Dr. Dirk Wiechmann, Prof. Dr. Hugo DeClerk, Prof. Dr. Franz Van Der Linden, Prof. Dr. Bjorn Zachrisson and Prof. Dr. Dan Grauer in Barcelona, Spain and was part of the TWEED International Foundation For Orthodontic Research Course, Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A in 2011 with Prof. Dr. Herbert Klontz. He speaks fluently Greek, Romanian and English.
Dental Surgeon Dr. Sergios Xyrichis was born in Brisbane, Australia, but from a very young age has been permanently living in Nicosia. After completing his military service, he was accepted at the Department of Dentistry at the Medical School of the University of Pecs in Hungary. He graduated in 2015 and since then he has been a member of Dentistar Dental clinic.
Dr. Tasos Toumasis was born and raised in Nicosia. After completing his military service, he studied Dentistry in Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, from which he graduated in 2009. In 2010 he came back to Cyprus, where he created Dentistar Dental Clinic. In 2010 he completed a series of “curriculum” classes at the University of Cologne in the field of implants, whereas in 2013 he completed a “master class” in cosmetic dentistry at the University of London (UCL). Since then, he has been up to date with the latest achievements in dental implantology, as well as in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Since 2010, Dr Toumasis has been a member of the European Implantology Association (BSIZ EDI). Since 2011, he has also been a council member at Nicosia – Kerynia Dental Association. Dr Toumasis’ goal and vision is to constantly update his services, in order to meet the needs of all his patients.
